Due to the current Covid-19 situation we have put in place a number of measures to ensure the safety of both customers and our staff.
In line with new regulations, by confirming a booking you confirm that you are attending with members of your household or bubble.
Please check in on arrival by scanning the NHS Track & Trace QR code at the front door.
All guests will now need to wear face masks when moving around the venue, so please bear this in mind when visiting. All staff will be wearing masks at all times.
When you arrive at the bar please queue in the doorway following social distancing guidelines leaving 1-2m between groups if anyone else should be waiting. You will be shown to your seat by one of our members of staff once your table is ready.
Our menus will be accessible via PDF’s on our website and we have free guest Wi-Fi you can use in order to access them on your phone.
We ask that you remain seated at your table during your time with us, and only move around the bar to use the toilet. We will also have hand sanitiser situated throughout the venue for your frequent use.
If in the lead up to your booking you are feeling unwell, or showing any symptoms of cold, flu or Covid-19 or have been in contact with a person with a confirmed case, please contact us to cancel your table and we will be happy to re-book at a later stage.
For tastings or larger table bookings with deposits, we will allow you to cancel and reschedule your booking up to 8 hours before your booking, should you become unwell please notify us as soon as possible. Should you not inform us you are not coming, deposits or pre-payments will not be refunded.
If you develop symptoms within 48 hours of having been to the bar please notify us so that we can contact others who may have had contact with you and advise them to get tested.
Finally, in accordance with the new guidelines we will also need to retain your name, email address and phone number, as well as these details for each of the members of your party, for 21 days and contact you using these details should there be a Coronavirus incident. These we will aim to get upon booking, you’ll also need to check in using the NHS QR code at the front door for the foreseeable.
A Safe Space
We are doing all we can to make sure that the bar is a safe and welcoming environment for all. As ever we clean the space thoroughly, however we are ensuring we also now sanitise touch points and the loo frequently between uses, make sure our staff wear masks and we are washing/sanitising our hands according to recommended guidance.
We’d ask that all guests please respect social distancing and hygiene guidelines, as well as our new bar standards, to help with managing this ‘new-normal’.
